Lot 251 Details
DOMAINE PÉGAÜ CHÂTEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE CUVÉE LAURENCE 2012 (1 mag.)

Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
u. 2 cm. marked label.

PIERRE GONON ST. JOSEPH 2016 (2)

Rhône.
u. 2 x 1 cm.

Looking even better than it did from barrel, the 2016 Saint Joseph was singing last summer when I tasted it at the domaine. Truffle-like earthy florals accent peppery herbs, blending seamlessly with olives and raspberries on the nose. The palate is medium to full-bodied, rich and velvety, voluptuous even, yet balanced and vibrant, with a long, mouthwatering finish. January 2020 Drink to 2031 WA 94
